Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of showmebarcelona.co and any booking you place through the site. Placing a booking means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If something isn’t clear, email Info@showmebarcelona.co before you book.

1. Who you are booking with

Show Me Barcelona runs this site and helps you choose and book Barcelona experiences. Each experience is delivered by a local operator, who is responsible for running the activity on the day.

Product pages and booking summaries show the operator or supplier details where we have them. The practical model is: selected through Show Me Barcelona, fulfilled locally by the named operator, with Show Me Barcelona support available before and after booking.

2. Booking and payment

  • Prices on the site are shown per person in euros (EUR) unless stated otherwise. The final total shown before payment includes the taxes and fees charged for that booking; anything clearly marked as extra is settled separately with the operator.
  • Payment is processed in the secure booking window shown before you pay. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Your booking is confirmed when the booking window accepts payment and sends the booking confirmation.
  • If payment succeeds but the booking does not confirm properly, we contact you quickly to either confirm the booking on a working slot or refund the payment in full.

3. Cancellation and refund terms

  • Check the product terms - the cancellation policy shown on the individual product page and in the booking window is the policy that applies to that booking.
  • Common public-tour policy - many experiences allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time, but some dated events, private groups, transport-heavy trips, or special packages may have stricter terms.
  • Dated activities - dated leisure activities may not be treated like ordinary online goods with a simple 14-day cooling-off return. The cancellation window shown before payment matters.
  • No-show - if you don’t turn up at the meeting point, the booking is treated as used and no refund is due.
  • Operator cancellation - if the operator cancels and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you receive a full refund.

To cancel or change a booking, reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5-10 business days after the payment provider processes them.

4. Refunds, complaints, and escalation

  • For refund requests, operator issues, or complaints after the experience, reply to your confirmation email or email Info@showmebarcelona.co with your booking reference, date, guest name, and a short description of what happened.
  • We review the booking record, payment status, cancellation terms, and operator notes before giving an outcome.
  • We aim to acknowledge booking complaints within one business day and give a clear outcome or next step within 14 days.
  • If the issue concerns how the experience was run on the day, we coordinate with the local operator and keep you updated.

5. Changes by the operator

Occasionally an operator cancels or reschedules. If that happens we’ll offer you a new date that works, a different experience of similar value, or a full refund.

6. Showing up and taking part

  • Arrive at the meeting point at the time shown on your confirmation.
  • Many experiences involve alcohol. You need to be of legal drinking age in Spain (18).
  • Follow the operator’s instructions on the day.
  • If you have accessibility or dietary requirements, tell us in advance so the operator can plan for it.

7. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care in choosing operators and describing experiences accurately. Experiences are run by independent local operators who are responsible for the activity itself.

Beyond consumer rights that can’t be limited by contract, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

8. Using the site fairly

Don’t use the site to disrupt bookings, scrape at scale, spam reviews, or impersonate someone else. We may cancel bookings we reasonably believe are fraudulent.

Use of the site is also covered by our privacy policy, including optional analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity when you allow improve site cookies.

9. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable law for the business operating this site. If you and we can’t sort a dispute informally, the competent courts under that applicable law handle the dispute.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book is the version that applies to your booking.

11. Contact

Questions before or after booking: Info@showmebarcelona.co, or WhatsApp us. If you have a booking-provider confirmation email, keep it until the activity has finished.
